How it started

It all began with a lifelong love for meat and a passion for cooking that started at a young age. Growing up, I was always the one experimenting with flavors and techniques, from grilling to smoking. My fascination with creating the perfect meat dish led me to start making jerky in my own kitchen—a hobby that, while thrilling for me, didn’t quite win over my wife.

My kitchen became my personal test lab, filled with spices, marinades, and the unmistakable aroma of slow-cooking beef. As much as I loved it, my wife wasn’t too pleased with the constant mess and the overpowering smell that seemed to linger long after each batch. Yet, she supported me, knowing how much I enjoyed it.

The turning point came when we decided to focus on getting more protein into our kids' diet. We wanted a tasty, nutritious snack that they would actually enjoy. That’s when I realized that my jerky could be more than just a personal passion—it could be a solution for our family and others facing the same challenge.

After countless kitchen experiments and refining recipes, I decided to take the plunge and turn my hobby into a business. And so, B’s Joint was born. From those humble beginnings in my kitchen to our full-fledged operation, we’ve been dedicated to crafting delicious, high-quality jerky that’s perfect for snacking and packed with protein.

Our journey has been one of passion, perseverance, and a lot of love for both meat and family. Now, every piece of jerky we create is a testament to our commitment to flavor, quality, and the joy of sharing good food with loved ones.
